PAINTING: 'Primitive Resurrections' 2009
'Primitive Resurrections' a solo show at Chelsea 28-30 April 2009.
Le Rougetel showed two tryptichs in public for the first time: 'Duchamp Is Dead' and 'Primitive Page 3 Girls'. A sculptural installation vibe occurred with the simple, yet very powerful 'Canvas Bottle Men'. A lot of this work was the build up to making the ceramic heads for 'Thank gods for Christmas'.
