His sculpture 'RBY Primitive - Scarlet Rocks!' is pivotal. These space changing frames heralded a new vigour as the subject of the figure was broached in a full and uncompromising manner. Mirrors on all sides take the swirling animalistic tendencies and emotions of the deeply set paintings, revolve them, and send them and the viewer into into infinity - well as far as the light will go anyway. They are peripatetic figures, rest your wine of glass atop them, check your make-up in them or lay them on the floor like a coffin and think of England.
